Al Nabor  was born in Baler Aurora (formerly Quezon), an eldest son to an Ilocano father and a Tagalog  mother.

Al was a High School Valedictorian, but because his father passed away when he was twelve years- old and with five
other brothers and sisters, his prospects of further education was dim. Equipped with a strong belief in God and his dreams
of becoming a lawyer some day, Al competed with other high school graduates in 1969 in a Scholarship Examination
given throughout the Philippines to poor but deserving students. He was one of two scholars chosen for the province of Quezon.

Al graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Far Eastern University, Manila, in 1974.
Immediately after graduation, he was hired by the University of the East to teach History and Government in its High School
Department. Al taught at U.E. during the day while he pursued further studies—taking up Masters in Political Science  in the University of the Philippines—at night.
In 1976, he joined Zuellig Pharma Corporation where he worked for almost fifteen years—mostly in the marketing field—involving assignments in the different
regions of the Philippines. He started as Medical Representative, promoted to Area Manager, to Product Manager, and Group Product Manager. In 1983, while
working with Zuellig, Al started law school towards his life-long dream to become a lawyer. He graduated at Arellano University Law School in 1987 and passed the
Philippine Bar  Examination in 1988. He was then transferred to the Legal Department of Zuellig Pharma Corporation where he retired in 1990.

Al immigrated to America in 1990. He worked as a paralegal in the Law Offices of Terrence McGuire from 1991 to 1993. He worked at the Asian Pacific American
Legal Center from 1993 to 1997. At this Center, Al helped people from various Asian countries with their legal problems especially involving immigration and family
law. Al passed the California Bar Examinations in 1997. He started his own practice in December 1997 specializing in immigration law. He is helping clients, mostly
Filipinos with their immigration needs and in their quest to realize the American Dream.
